The Attorney of Color Affinity Group at Fried Frank seeks to foster an environment for building and sustaining diversity among our talented attorneys and staff. Endeavoring to fulfill Fried Frank's commitment to diversity, the Attorney of Color Affinity Group provides a venue to recognize the valuable contributions and address any distinct challenges faced by attorneys of diverse backgrounds, and to encourage their recruitment, retention, and advancement. As one component of Fried Frank's dedication to fostering a vibrant, broad-minded, creative atmosphere that embraces inclusion, the Attorney of Color Affinity Group at Fried Frank serves as a resource to enrich the professional experiences of diverse individuals at Fried Frank and to advocate for the recognition and inclusion of culturally diverse perspectives throughout Fried Frank.
In March of 2005, the Attorney of Color Affinity Group in Fried Frank’s Washington, DC office created the DC Minority Attorney Networking Series, which, since its inception, has brought together over 2500 attorneys of color from firms, government, corporations and non-profit organizations to hear prominent speakers and provide minority attorneys an opportunity to focus on professional development and build alliances with colleagues practicing law in the DC Metro area. The Series has since been expanded to the New York area and has brought together numerous co-sponsoring firms in each city.
